Arganizm was founded by a Moroccan entrepreneur who moved to the U.S. 30 years ago and later returned to his roots with a clear mission: to elevate his homeland through ethical, purposeful business. In the early days, he partnered with a small local argan producer known as Lhadj — a respected figure in the Essaouira region. Today, they continue to build Arganizm together, hand in hand — lifting the industry while preserving tradition, empowering people, and sharing Morocco’s finest natural treasure with the world.

By building our production unit in the heart of the Moroccan argan valley — a region once overlooked — we chose to stay close to the source and invest in the people who know it best. Today, we directly employ over 400 women with stable, dignified income, and indirectly support more than 2,500 across surrounding communities. We’re helping families access education, opportunity, and long-term stability through the responsible transformation of a local resource into a world-class product.
